I am sure that Paul is now in an eternal place of peace and love and happiness. I am sorry for his family who will miss him so much. I was there in spirit today lending my prayers for your funeral Mass and asking God to give Paul's loved ones strength to cope with his sudden loss during this sad time.

My deepest condolences to the Papay family. I knew Paul from Chicago Booth and he was a standout guy who always made us laugh and was always full of energy. I didn't get to see him too much while in New York since he lived in Philly, but I am grateful for the moments we caught up over lunch while we both worked at Goldman. He will be greatly missed.

Paul went to grade school with my little sister, Katie. I remember Paul vividly as a grade schooler! He had such a presence and charisma even at a young age. He was such a neat guy, and a wonderful friend to my sister. I always loved hearing about his adventures, and grilled him relentlessly about the time he met JFK Jr at the White House. He obliged with every detail...Paul was pure awesome. My heart goes out to Liz and the boys and the entire Papay family. I will always keep Paul in my prayers. God bless.

I have spent a lot of time over the last week thinking about all of the good times Paul and I had. Every time I look back on one of those moments, it brings a smile to my face. It did that because Paul was so fun to be around. I don't ever recall him not smiling or cracking a joke. People always gravitated towards him and it takes a special kind of person to have that effect on people. I can't imagine how difficult and different things will be for his family and friends without him there but I know he still will bring a smile to all of our faces when we think back on all of the good times we had with him. There are no words that can comfort during these times, just the gratitude that we got to know a special person like Paul.
