My deepest condolences to you Clare, and your Mother's family and friends. She seems to have been a role model in every way, and my prayers and thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Laurie and I send our love and our prayers to all the McCabe Family. While we did not have the pleasure of spending time with Alverna we know with certainty how wonderful a woman, mother and matriarch she was because of our 20 year association with her daughter Clare. Clare is among the kindest, most capable and most principled people ever: surely traits encouraged by her mother and fine family. Clare's pride of her family and love for her mother was on display every day over the 20 years I have had the pleasure of working with her. To hear Clare talk about her mom, dad, brothers, sisters and life at Irish Hill is a blessing. What a wonderful family Alverna and Tom created.

So sorry for the passing of your mother. She did a fine job with the boys I know. May she rest in eternal peace.

Brendan,
I hope you and your family will find the inner strength to get through this sad and difficult time. I think that the loss of one's mother is by far the saddest event of anyone's lifetime - You have my very deepest and sincere sympathy – I think your mother's greatest legacy will be in the wonderful life she has given her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know you will miss her, I still miss my mom but they live in our hearts forever.
