I have been a customer of Charlie's and Holland Barber for 33 years. I followed Jim to Holland because he was a great guy and fun to be with. He loved my mom who always made him laugh (and Mark) and we would always talk about vacations and our families. The world was a brighter place with him in it and the sun will shine a little brighter with him in heaven. I know he loved his wife and children dearly and what amazed me was that when he told me last time that he had about a year or two to live, how upbeat and excited he was to make the best of the time he had left with his family and friends. He wanted to hang on as long as he could to make sure his kids knew how much he loved them and that he wanted them to be able to move on from this and live their lives like he did. I am sad I did not get a chance to say goodbye. He cut my hair last time and when I shook his hand and said goodbye I wondered if it might be the last. I look forward to seeing him again someday. I will miss him dearly and our conversations together. He always made me smile. God Bless.
