I am at a total loss for words. We spoke less often over the years, but when on occasion we would meet, catching up consisted of much laughter and love shared between our families. I remember swaddling you as a baby to having a deeply nuanced political discussion with you as a young man. Your boundless energy and relentless pursuit of your passions, both tried and elevated you; happily more the latter in recent years. We watched with great joy the man you had become, you lived a brightly burning life - the world is that less bright with your passing.

From all of us at Rock Ministries of Philadelphia, please accept our deepest sympathy. We were privileged to know Ian and are grateful for the time he spent with us serving in the inner city. We are especially joyful to know that he professed Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior, which is our hope that he is now in the presence of God Himself. We will see him again!
Do not hesitate to contact us here at Rock Ministries if we can do anything for your family at this time.

Way too soon, I always thought I'd see your bright smile again. My condolences to your Mom, whom I know you loved so much. Rest easy Ian, you are in my thoughts. Emily
