Condolences for
Matthew Wayne Benedict, Sr.

I'm Sending my deepest condolences and wishing you all peace and strength at this extremely difficult and emotional time. Regretfully, as you know, I am unable to be there for the memorial service, but I will be there in heart and I will say a special prayer for all of you. I will remember Matt as a hard working man, with a quick wit and a smile.

Dear Joyce, Matt, and Sarah:

Peggy and I were saddened to read of Matt Sr.'s death today. We have the fondest memories of all Benedicts from our shared glory days with the Tri-Township Tornadoes. Joyce and Matt Sr. were young, beautiful and devoted to the game and Matt always had an abundance of energy which made coaching exciting - you never knew what was going to happen with him at bat or in the field. Sarah and Greta had their own energy too, zooing around while their brothers played ball.

Life was good to us then and we continue to be grateful for your family's companionship . We are sorry we are going to miss the service on Wednesday, but we are holding all of you in our hearts and prayers.
