I am sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I had the pleasure to work with Bill and always had the highest respect for him and enjoyed his good sense of humor. I also used to work out at Newtown with him and never could keep up. It has been 20 years since we saw each other, since I have spent some time living in other countries and states (currently Iowa), but the occasional e-mails and thoughts of Bill always bring a smile to my face and a good feeling inside. He was a special man and will be missed.

Michael, Molly, Julie and Chrissy,
We were saddened to hear about Bill passing. I have known Bill for almost 40 years. Bill was a great leader, mentor and a friend to all. Bill was well respected by everyone he knew from around the world working at Yale and many others who became part of Yale (now NMHG, Inc.) through acquisitions. Even long after his retirement and till his last days, Bill kept the whole Yale gang informed of company happenings and any news about anyone every so often. We all miss him immensely. My wife Roopa and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Michael, Molly, Julie and Chrissy,

I am so sorry to read about Bill passing. We have known each other since we were kids. I remember spending many nights at Bill's house on the South Side of Chicago. I recall playing ball on the street in from of Bill's house. He did not live in the best neighborhood but who cares..there was so much love from Bill's Mom and Dad and sister. We teased each other a lot because I am one of those die hard Cub fans. We did have a lot in common in that we were both taught by the Christian Brothers...DLS and College for Bill..Saint George and St. Mary's in Winona Minn. for me. I attended your Mom and Dad's wedding with my Mom and sister...great day for them and all of us. Bob O'Connor, Bill and I are all the same age and had so many happy times together. Be sure I will remember Bill, your Mom and all of you at daily Mass. God Bless all of you and keep Mom and Dad's peace and happiness going.
