Granny, I love you. I was so lucky to have you and Grandpop right around the corner growing up and then to be one of your roomies during my early adulthood.
Thank you for all you did for me and my family. I so enjoyed your company and friendship and cherish all of the memories: ice cream sandwiches at your house, hanging out with you and Grandpop while I helped him with office work, vacations down the shore, breakfast with you, our shopping trips to CVS, watching you open all of your birthday and Christmas gifts each year, watching the Golden Girls among other shows, you being Dane’s “DS partner,” seeing you dance at my wedding, and your 90th b-day celebration (http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AaNXLZw1YtWTYEA) among many others.
A few weeks ago you told me that you wanted to go home. I believe you are “home” now with Grandpop, reunited after all of these years. I know you are resting in peace, Granny, and I will love you forever. Love, Elizabeth (Liz)
