Condolences for
Eugene J. "Gene" Ward

Monday, February 2nd | Comment by: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Holden Jr.

Gene was a loving Patriarch arc to the McCloskey Family. When the family was growing up, he would teach them how to drive, play basketball at Memorial Hall. He was always involved in a loving way. Couldn't do enough for any one that he associated with that came under the umbrella of Family. Always willing to help those in need or less fortunate than himself. When Kathleen started dating a guy named Holden, he interjected that he played basketball in the PALS for a Joe Holden. When he was in his sixties, he could take any one outside on his basketball court in Princeton New Jersey, and drain legitimate NBA threes, to our dismay, at the time. He was Love Personified. His personality and warmness will leave a void that will be hard to fill. We love you and we will miss you Gene.
