Doris W. Reese

Doris truly loved people. We were lucky to be neighbors of the Reese Family in Somerton for many years. We always had so much fun. Thank you, Doris, for your kindness and good cheer. Missing you for now, but I feel I'll be seeing you soon. I do believe it. I'll be looking you up in the directory as soon as I get there. Your friend, Grace Gardner

Doris will always be remembered fondly. She was so sincere in her warmth for people, and it was such a lot of fun to be in her company. You'd be sure to have lots of laughs and good conversation. I among so many will never forget you Doris, and I already miss your laugh.

It's hard to say goodbye to someone who was such a big part of my life for such a long time; from Somerton to Holland to New Hope to Long Beach Island, Aunt Doris was a fixture, a person who always had a smile and a warm hug, someone I always was happy to see!

And that doesn't even BEGIN to address to important items; apple pie and potato salad!!!

Now my Dad was a HUGE fan of the pie but, for me, it was all about the potato salad! A more exquisite comfort food has yet to be created...and I like to consider my self an EXPERT on comfort food!

I'm so glad there was a chance to say goodbye last week...Aunt Doris, eventually we will all be together again; by then you'll have the entire situation scoped out and the potato salad will be waiting!!!

Love you,

Ken

I first met Doris when I visited the Bucks Mont Chorus in 1984. I was immediately taken with her warmth and humor. Doris and I sang together for many years after that first meeting and she never failed to make me smile. I will smile when I remember her. Arlene McMahon

Doris Reese was one of those people who brought light and laughter into a room......she was warm, witty as well as gracious and generous.
Steve and I have many wonderful memories of her at family gatherings.
She ALWAYS had a smile on her face and ALWAYS was interested in your world.
It was ALWAYS a treat so spend time with her.....
The gift of her daughter Gail's close friendship with us is a gift we cherish..........we thank you Doris for our Cousin Gail!
Am certain she will be as popular and loved in Heaven as she was here on Earth.
Rest In Peace Doris!
