I'm sorry the Loring Street gang moved on to the " Greater" Northeast before I had the chance to grow up with the McCabe/Sharkey/Cunningham triumvirate but I carry so many memories in my heart of our moms together- they were the original 3 Muskateers and watching them taught me how important girlfriends should be, and would be, in my life. Cheers to a wonderful woman who lived a life surrounded by love because she gave so much of it herself.

I was very sorry to hear of your mother's death. It is always more sad at the Holidays.
She is up in Heaven and is in complete peace reunited with your father and relatives.

Mary was like an aunt to me, encouraging me in whatever endeavor I chose (whether foolish, or not.) How many nights were spent around the kitchen table on Ferndale St! Made sure to visit at least once during every visit to Philadelphia, even after leaving the East Coast. Always of good cheer and a happy laugh, looking on the bright side, was she. Along with Bob, they were the best aunt and uncle, and true champions.
Love, John Cunningham
PS; Feel a bit guilty for not being there on Wednesday. Yet I'll be present in mind and spirit.
