Ditto Nancy above. I, too, am saddened to learn of the loss of your beloved mom, Pat, or "Mrs. Shoe" as we lovingly referred to her as. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your dad and family at this time. Your mom was one of the most gracious and grandest ladies that I ever came to know and love as we grew up. Always smiling and cheerful as we boisterously charged into your house next door to hang out. She was very proud of her home and your dad was, too. She never ever had a harsh word exit her mouth. Us Metzgers and even our friends who joined us felt at home around your mom. She was always interested in what we were up to in a good way. As I moved away to college and beyond, she and your dad were always a supportive and steady neighbor to my aging mom and dad next door. Always to be called on and welcoming. Anyway, your mom was an angel to me and I am sure she still is. Waiting for us with that smile and welcoming hug. Please know I am thinking of you all as you pass through your grief and find peace in her continued love and warm spirit. Pat Perry, formerly of course, Patti Metzger, as your mom called me.

So very sorry to hear our childhood neighbor, "Mrs.Scheuer", has passed on. But I look forward to seeing this very nice, (true) lady in heaven one day! I feel for Sue, Janet , Linda and "Mr. Scheuer" a great deal. I pray that each of you know strongly that Our Lord and Savior's comforting arms are around you through the grief of missing her. Her photo above is exactly the way I remember her... and always will. MUCH LOVE to you all, Nancy XO
