Karen Fahey (Bredesen)

Karen was a wonderful mentor when I was an underwriter at Nationwide. We worked with many of the same agents the Philadelphia territory. She was a delightful person to spend time with face to face or on the phone. She helped me grow in many ways professionally and personally. I am thankful for her friendship.

I am sorry to hear of Karen'passing. We worked together many years at Nationwide , Syracuse. We had so many laughs together. She was so much fun! I am so glad to have known her.

I had the pleasure of knowing Karen both professionally and personally. She had an infectious laugh and I can still hear her giggle. Professionally she was always available to answer any questions and offered her help even if she wasn’t my assigned underwriter at the time. She was one of the smartest underwriters I’ve worked with and a great listener. On a personal level, among the many great times we had, I especially will always remember our trip to Cape May where we laughed during the whole trip. We started out having an Elegant Tea, A carriage ride, shopping, then dinner and drinks at the Ugly Mug. That was my Karen, always up for anything. I miss her.

I had the pleasure of working on the same team with Karen for 2 years. She was very passionate about her work and more importantly about the people she worked with. She had a big heart and always lit up the room. I will never forget our ride alongs in the Philadelphia area, which were filled with great conversation and laughter when I was driving and a little bit of terror when Karen was behind the wheel :-) She will be missed.
