Carol and family,

Although I never met you or Pete, I always heard so much great stuff about you guys from my Mom and Dad. My Dad thought the world of Pete and also the family. Pete got my Dad through some through some tough times after my Mom died., for that I will be forever grateful. He will be missed for sure. Although it's a process losing someone so close to you, it does get better, a little bit at a time. My Dad and I send prayers and love. Stick close to your family they will help you through things.

I wasn't that close with Pete, but the times we shared in Sea Isle and Ocean Sands remind me of how he was a loving husband, father, and friend. My family introduced me to Pete as Uncle Pete as he was an integral part of their lives. It's true he loved saltwater fishing, since there were countless times that I asked where my Uncle Joe was and I would get the response, "He's fishing with Uncle Pete." Pete will live on in all of our hearts and I wish him eternal peace.

We never had the chance to met Kari's Dad but Kyle shared with us what a wonderful, fun person he was. Our sincerest sympathy at this difficult time.
