Kirk A. Kownurko (Kane)
Thursday, March 3rd | Comment by: Michael Malizia, electrical foreman South Street bridge
Kirk and I worked closely together on the electrical constructon of the South Street bridge. I enjoyed working with Kirk. His experience in the electrical field was invaluable to me and he was generous in sharing his knowledge. Kirk never complained of his illness and because of this I did not realize how sick Kirk was. When Kirk was away from the job prior to his passing I thought he would be back. I was looking forward to showing him what we had accomplished I know he would have been pleased. I was very saddened to hear the news of Kirk passing away. Kirk was a gentleman and a courageous man he will be missed.
