Dear Mary Ann, Matthew, Christen, and Jeffrey,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Our hearts are breaking for all of you. Joe was an amazing man, husband, father, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Everybody loved Joe.

We are in Arizona for our nephew's Bar Mitzvah and will not be able to attend Joe's services. Please know that we will be with you in spirit and will keep all of you in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers.

As a CNBC viewer I always enjoyed and appreciated Joe's perspective during the ups and downs of the market. And he seemed like such a nice guy! I am so saddened to hear of this terrible loss, and want to extend my deepest condolences to the family. You are all in my prayers.
