Charles E. "Chuck" Barrett Jr.

Thursday, April 21st | Comment by: Jo-Anne and Ron Chassner

We extend our deepest sympathy to the families of Chuck Barrett. We know of him through his loving daughter, Melissa Rosenberg and her husband, Steven. The devotion and care given by Melissa comes from that deep love a daughter has for a father...a love that will continue to carry her through this very sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who loved, and were loved by Chuck.

Melissa and family,

We were so sad to learn about Chuck today. We loved seeing Chuck and will cherish the memories of him coaching the triplets in soccer. He was somebody that we always looked forward to seeing at Deep Run. We enjoyed his friendly disposition, his humor and outlook on life. Knowing that we will not see him again at Deep Run, deeply saddens us. We will keep your family in our prayers. Please know that he made a wonderful impact in our lives, and we will never forget him. We thought the world of him.

God Bless You.
Christie, Chip, Luke, Matthew, Nicholas and Michael Eissler

Dear Melissa: This is so shocking.....my heart goes out to you....I have nothing but fond and funny memories of Chuck and his antics--even in serious moments at Foundation Board Meetings. I will never forget him telling us in the office how he was planning to take Connor for a portrait at Christmastime for a surprise for you...It was such an ordeal...but he got through it. Lean on these and other great moments of this guy with the quick wit, smile and funny (sometimes naughty) personality! He will be missed by all who knew him!
