Meredith and I are sitting here together and I just learned of Dave's death a year ago today. I valued Dave and Patti's friendship at the swim meets and my connection with Dave as fellow alum of Colgate. I'm sure it's been a year that you could not have imagined getting through, but here you are. My prayers are with you today for memories that are a reminder that Dave lives on through the ones he touched.

Sunrise always comes after the darkest of nights.......
Pitler family - Every week Dave would come into work and share stories about Patti, Lauren, and Chris which showed the joy and love in his heart he had for each of you. I've come to know each of you in a special way because of those stories. It was also evident he treasured the times at the beach with the bigger extended Pitler family. Hold all these thoughts close to you and take one day at a time to get to the sunrise that someday will come.
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you...

To the Pitler family,
Dave and I worked together for 11 brief years which were cut short. Dave had a great intellect and we enjoyed in depth discussions on many topics. He was also a great educator and I learnt from him the operational aspects of running a business to a level I had not seen before. This was always accomplished with a sprinklinking of humor.
My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you at this time.

I was very sad to hear of Dave's passing.
I reported to Dave for several years and enjoyed the time he spent mentoring and challenging me. I learned quite a lot from him and will remember those lessons always.
The halls of BioClinica will not be the same without him.
My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.
It was the most beautiful service I had ever been to. Dave was loved and we will all miss him.
My condolences to the Pitler family.
