Dear Aunt Laura,

I loved Uncle Larry dearly. He was like a second father to me. I am so happy that I visited with him a few weeks ago, and that I had the opportunity to speak with him over the phone and tell him I loved him on the day he died. I will be coming to Philadelphia in the very near future and I will come out to see you and pay my respects at that time. If you need anything at all in the meantime, do not hesitate to let me know.
