To the family of Curwen,
I am so sorry to hear about Curwen. I so loved working with Shelly, as he insisted I call him, at Rieniger Brothers. He worked harder than the younger people there. Everyday was a beautiful day in the greenhouse for him. He use to say, "How can you have a bad day among all this beauty?" He loved the flowers so. I learned a whole new appreciation for their beauty from him and how they brought such joy to someone. He made me laugh. He told me stories about his farm days and was so complimentary and encouraging to me. We had a great growing season that year. Thank you for the wonderful memories and your friendship. Jackie
