Dear Mary,

May your faith help you cope with your overwhelming loss. I remember John from fifty years ago as a remarkable person. His passing reminds us of how good it was to know him. We will all meet again at the resurrection on the last day.

We are so sorry to learn of John's passing. May God's grace and understanding be with you and Sara. If you are ever near Lyme NH. please stop and stay with us. I was just telling Betty Heard about the Port Washington days and Sister Mary as viewed by her students that I had teaching science.

I could never thank you enough for giving me the chance to know John- he was truly one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met. We loved having him in our group- he was always a gentleman, and always in good humor- and always loved his cookies!! I hope you both are comforted by all your memories, and by the knowledge that he is calm and serene. Mary, I hope you will join our group again, as soon as you feel up to that. So sorry that we never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Daly. We live on Grandview Dr. and have been here less than 2 years.
