dear char,
over the last four years my whole family had become so close to you. i don't know where to start. you were involved in many great changes in our lives. i have fond memories of our talks on the patio and was blessed to have you as a friend and neighbor through the start of a marriage, a pregnancy, and raising a toddler. i'm so happy that you were so involved in my first child's homecoming (you were the first person to visit me-- 24 hours after childbirth!!-- and bought my baby her first doll, too.)
you gave me the funniest "old school" advice and were such a joy to be around.
i will really miss baking your treats (and stealing them from matt!) and spending time w/ you!
we love you and miss you, char!!
