Karen and Children (Stephen and Elaine):
Linda and I extend or deepest condolences to all of you.
He was valiant in working with his infirmity and you gave your all in supporting him. A remarkable life.
The last time I spoke with Bill was more than a few years ago and I reminded him that he was regularly in my prayers by name. And I remained true to continuing to remember him regularly in my prayers for healing.
I was saddened to hear of his passing today, December 21st and assure you he will be remembered as a good friend. I remember Bill when he worked with us shortly out of school.
May you find strength, comfort and hope in this Christmas Season.
Linda had a very close first cousin who suffered with ALS for over seven years before she passed and next year will be thirty years. She was forty. We have a sense of all you have been through.
May his memory be strong within you, long after your grief is slowly tempered.
Love,
Gabe

I've prayed for Bill for so many years and often lit candles for him, even when I traveled in Europe. He was such a courageous, intelligent man. I know he made a difference in this world, as he touched me. When things were wrong in my life, I would think of Bill and how he did'nt give up. This gave me courage to be brave and handle what ever load I was given. God bless the Bishop family and keep you strong, until you're all together again. Love, Lylia (Friend of Marie and Jack.)

Bill's generosity was phenomenal, and he was responsible for helping hundreds, if not thousands, during his long battle with ALS. His passing brings an end to a soaring spirit and a life in pursuit of living life to its fullest. He will be miss by all who knew him.
