Uncle Bill was the sweetest guy. He loved being surrounded by his family. I have wonderful memories of him and Aunt Joyce in Bustleton when I was a little girl. They were always laughing. I remember that they spent time at the stables down by the creek. It's a bit hazy, but I remember being the flower girl in their wedding. Uncle Bill probably still, to this day, had the same shoes he wore to his wedding. Seems to me they were wingtips. Over the years we were always warmly welcomed when we visited. We feel very fortunate that he and Aunt Marge came all the way to Arizona two years ago to visit my mom and dad and Aunt Selma who came down from Wickenburg with our cousin, Marti. We dug out old photos, Aunt Selma brought old photos. We sat around one afternoon looking at photos and remembering the time when Uncle Walt, Aunt Selma, Uncle Bill and Aunt Joyce lived and worked in and around Tucson back in the 40's. They traveled down to Sonora (Mexico) and had the usual silly photos taken of them with sombreros and serapes. Our memories are all good and we cherish them.
