Jeffrey K. Macfarlan died suddenly on May 31, 2012 at his residence in Ivyland. He was 26.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of Alan Stanley Macfarlan of Mechanicsville and Colleen K. Yates Macfarlan of Ivyland and her fiancé Bruce DeYoung.

Jeffrey was a former resident of Newtown before moving to Ivyland in 1997. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School, Class of 2004. Jeffrey had a passion for fast cars and was considered by many of his friends as the burn out king. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends and scrapping metal with his dad. His passion for life will always be remembered and admired.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his brother Daniel A. Macfarlan and his wife Jennifer of Pipersville and his two sisters, Amanda K. Sivils and her husband Jonathan of Georgetown, TX and Tara E. Macfarlan of Ivyland, his paternal grandparents, Alan E. and Mildred M. (nee Taylor) Macfarlan of Holland, his maternal grandparents Louverna D. (nee Steele) and her husband Stanley Gersch of Newtown, PA, and Clyde G. Yates and Linda (nee Krause) of Bristol, PA. He is also survived by his goddaughter and niece, Savannah Sivils, his nephews Austin Sivils and Mitchell Macfarlan and many close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings, Wednesday, June 6 from 6:00 - 8:00pm and on Thursday, June 7 from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00 am from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Richboro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions for the Jeffrey K. Macfarlan Memorial Fund should be sent to the First National Bank of Newtown, 40 South State St. Newtown, PA 18940.
