John J. Gallelli of Doylestown died on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Doylestown Hospital. He was 59.
He was the beloved husband of Beth Ann French Gallelli for 34 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Catherine Sands Gallelli of Doylestown and the late Joseph A. Gallelli.
John was a resident of Doylestown for the past 32 years. He graduated from Council Rock High School, Class of 1970. John was employed as a truck driver for many years with BFI Industries and George Leck and Sons. He was an avid outdoorsman who always enjoyed hunting up the mountains. He will be sadly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
In addition to his beloved wife and mother, he is survived by his two children; John J. Gallelli Jr. and his wife, Ashley, of Chalfont, Melissa A. Gallelli of Doylestown, his two brothers, Joseph Gallelli and Richard Gallelli, both of Doylestown, and his sister, Theresa DiBenedetto of Fountainville, PA. He is also survived by his loving granddaughter, Grace A. Gallelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, June 4, 2012, from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at the Olde Church of Saint Andrew, 135 Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA 18940. Interment will take place at the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Fulfillment Center, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
