Rita M. Reilly Werneth of Holland died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 13th at her home.
She was the beloved husband of 58 years to Charles J. Werneth, Sr.
Born in Philadelphia, Rita was the daughter of the late Leo and Ethel Miller Reilly.
Rita has been a resident of Holland for the past 54 years. Throughout the years, she has faithfully devoted her time working with residents at many of the local nursing homes. In her leisure, Rita enjoyed crocheting, watching the Phillies Play, and spending quality time with her family creating cherished memories. Rita will be greatly missed as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her beloved husband, Rita is survived by her loving and devoted children Theresa Nagel, Charles Werneth, Jr., Sandra Leonard-Werneth and her Husband Joe Leonard, Robert Werneth, Laurie Jones-Werneth and her husband Robert Jones, and Michael Werneth. She is also survived by her sister Joan Tanner (Norman), her brother Robert Reilly (Barbara) and her 10 loving grandchildren.
Rita’s Family will receive friends on Friday, September 19th from 10:30am until her Memorial Mass 12:00 Noon in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966.
Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Bede the Venerable Church Capital Campaign Fund at the aforementioned address.
