Elizabeth Scullion Erickson of Churchville, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Holy Redeemer Hospice surrounded by her family. She was 80.

She was the beloved wife of Francis R. “Bud” Erickson for 55 years.

Born in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Maggie Cameron Scullion, mother of the late William Erickson, and sister of the late John Scullion, Agnes Kuhl, Mary Broadley, and Margaret Shuhart.

Mrs. Erickson was a resident of Churchville for the past three years. She formerly lived in Philadelphia, Bensalem and Florida. She served as a crossing guard at the intersection of Cottman Avenue & Battersby Street in Northeast Philadelphia for many years before retiring in 1990. Mrs. Erickson was a member of the Columbus Country Club in Bensalem. In her leisure time she enjoyed knitting. Being family oriented, she always enjoyed the special times spent with her children and grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her three children; Kathleen Buonomo and her husband, Louis, of Churchville, Thomas Erickson and his wife, Patricia, of Holland, and Francis Erickson and his wife, Jennifer, of Churchville. She is also survived by her two sisters, Kathleen Campbell and Joan McKenna, both of Bensalem, and her 15 loving grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 4, 2012, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, C/O Holy Family Home, 5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19143-4993.
