William J. Loughnane of Richboro, formerly of Washington Crossing, NJ, died peacefully at his home on August 26, 2012 with his beloved family at his side. He was 81.

Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the beloved husband of 55 years to Josephine M. Doyle Loughnane and son of the late Timothy and Nellie O’Connor Loughnane.

Bill was a graduate of Fordham Preparatory School and received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and his law degree also from Fordham University. Bill was a proud 1st Lt. in the United States Marine Corps.

Bill retired as Vice President of New Jersey Realty Title Insurance Co. 10 years ago after over 35 years of dedicated service to the company. Bill and his family lived in Washington Crossing, NJ for 44 years before moving to Richboro 5 years ago. He was an avid reader and a man of deep faith and conviction. His support of many Catholic missions was to be admired. A man of many talents, he loved most sports, was an avid tennis player and looked forward to his jogging.

In addition to his beloved wife Josephine, Bill is survived by his loving son Michael Loughnane and his wife Mary Pat of Richboro, PA, his caring sister Eileen Conroy of Ocean County, NJ and his 4 devoted grandchildren: Jennifer, Eric, Christine and Brian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings Wednesday, August 29, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Thursday morning from 8:15am to 9:15am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 and to his Funeral Mass 10:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1054 Holland Rd., Holland.

Rite of Committal will take place at 1:30pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, NJ.
