Lucy D’Amico Robertson peacefully departed this life on August 27, 2012 at the age of 39 surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She had valiantly and courageously fought a four-year battle with breast cancer with grace, compassion, and personal strength.

Lucy was born in Philadelphia and raised in Glenside, Pa where she was a member of the St. Luke’s graduating Class of 1986 and Abington Senior High School Class of 1990. Lucy graduated from Gwynedd Mercy College in 1994 with a Bachelor degree in Biology, and in 1998, she received her Medical Degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Lucy then practiced family medicine at the Bensalem Medical Practice for several years until she stayed home to be with her children.

To cherish her memory, Lucy leaves her devoted husband and love of her life, William (Rob) Huston Robertson, and their children, William (Billy) Lawrence 12, Emma Grace 10, and Alex Patrick 5. Her children were her absolute joy and brought her much love and happiness. She also loved her two dogs, Louie and Max.

Lucy is survived by her parents, Pat and Kathy D’Amico, and her treasured sister, Lauren, who will miss and hold her in their hearts until they join her in eternity. She leaves her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Jean Robertson, her sister-in-law and her husband Kim Tsimbinos and Steven, and their sons, Thomas, Christopher, and Daniel. She was also supported by the love of many great aunts, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and the best and most loyal and supportive friends in the world.

Lucy was a true friend and a confidant to all and always recognized the best in everyone and every situation. Intelligent, interested, and insightful, she faced her most recent reoccurrence of cancer in 2010 with determination. Lucy demonstrated integrity, and regardless of the physical struggle she endured, she lovingly cared for her family which was always her steadfast priority.
