Joseph J. Green, Jr., of Doylestown died peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 1st, at his residence.

He was 62.

He was the beloved husband of 41 years to Karen L. Whitaker Green.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Cornwells Heights, Joe was the son of Joseph J. Green, Sr. and the late Eleanor E. Nebel Green.

Following his graduation from Father Judge High School in 1969, Joe proudly served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. Joe was a man who enjoyed waking up early every day and heading in to work. He was an avid cyclist who enjoyed participating in numerous charity fundraiser rides. He loved traveling with his family; especially to Colorado where he had hoped to one day retire. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by everyone whose life he has touched.

In addition to his beloved wife and father, Joe is survived by his loving children Joseph J. Green, III, Jena L. Bagley and her husband Douglas, and Michael L. Green and his significant other Catherine Beazer. He is also the brother of Timothy Green and Maryann Kozicki, the doting grandfather of Madelynn Rose, Payton Flora, and Emma Riley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and by his wife’s cousin Carol Ann Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Thursday, September 6, from 9:00 am until his Funeral Service 10:30 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954

. Interment with Military Honors, will follow at 11:30am in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
