Michael Joseph Bejzak, 93, of Holland, PA, passed ever so peacefully, surrounded by his loving family Friday, September 19, 2014.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son to the late Alexander and Teofila Bodzioch Bejzak, and brother of his 3 late sisters; Helena, Jennie and Victoria.

Michael retired from the Carpenters Union as a Master Carpenter. He was Catholic by faith and example, he was a proud Marine Veteran who served 42 months in the Pacific during WWII and was at Iwo Jima. He was awarded with a purple heart for his bravery and wounds suffered during battle. He was a member of the Carpenters Guild, a communicant of Saint Bede the Venerable Church, he enjoyed dancing, gardening, walks with his wife and watching the grandchildren and great children grow.

Michael is survived by the love of his life for 67 years, Genevieve Theresa Bejzak; along with 3 children; his daughter Lorraine Kennedy, his 2 sons; Michael (Donna) Bejzak Jr., and Edward (Liz) Bejzak, 6 grandchildren; Theresa Kennedy, Marlene (John) Weinch, Natalie Hartman, Michael Bejzak, Steven (Kristen) Bejzak, and Lauren Bejzak; great grandchildren; Johnny Jr., Alexis, Riley and Kellie Weinch and Ava Hartman. He is also survived by his former daughter in law Debbie Bejzak and many other loving family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966 from 9:30 am, until his Funeral Mass 10:30am. His interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

If so desired, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of a donor’s choice.
