Kathryn Burness Moran of Tenants Harbor, Maine, formerly of Chalfont, passed away Friday, September 7, at her home, she was 93. Born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Zilphia W. and Frederick A. Burness.

Kathryn was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Moran II and the beloved grandmother of the late Denise Moran.

Kathryn is survived by her devoted children; Francis J. Moran III and his wife, Kathleen; Teresa A. Hartford and husband, Richard; Michael F. Moran, Maria K. Browne and her husband, Dennis, Patricia E. Moran-Kimmey and her husband, Terence; and the Rev. Stephen P. Moran; she is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Kathryn’s family will receive condolences on Saturday September 15, from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass 10:00am at St. Jude Church 321 W. Butler Ave. Chalfont.

Interment will follow in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia.
