Mary E. Walker, formerly of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Abington Hospice at Warminster. She was 72.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Walker for 24 years.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late George and Anna Patrick Youell, and the sister of the late Ann P. “Trish” Sheridan and Eileen Fenton.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Family University in Philadelphia. She became a real estate agent, and was the broker/owner of Ocean Reef Club Realty in Ocean City, NJ for many years.
Mary was a talented artist, and especially enjoyed sculpting and painting. She had a deep love for all her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be remembered as a generous and loving woman.
She is survived by her daughters: Mary E. Elmer of Lower Gwynedd and Kathleen Nolan and her husband Kevin of Jamison; her son: John P. Call, and his wife Louri of Nesbit, MS; her sister Loretta Kearney, and six grandchildren: Christina, Lauren, Shannon, Megan, Sean, and Jack.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until her Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Ann’s Choice, 1600 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster. Burial will be private and at the discretion of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
