Christopher Kraft of Reading PA, formerly of Washington Crossing died Friday October 12, 2012 as a result of surgical complications.

Born in Huntingdon Valley, Chris was the beloved son of John F. Kraft and his wife Mary of Washington Crossing and Elfriede Michl Kraft of Aptos CA.

Chris was a resident of Stabon Manor in Reading for the past 5 years. He hurdled over every one of his challenges with an infectious smile and healthy dose of optimism. He became friends with everyone he met and never forgot a birthdate. His strength of character, kind and loving nature, zest for life, and indomitable spirit have been an inspiration to all who know and love Chris.

In addition to his parents and step mother, Chris is survived by his 2 brothers; John F. Kraft, Jr. and his wife Josephina of Casa Grande AZ, Kenneth M. Kraft of Langhorne, his sisters; Michele M. Kraft of Carmel Valley, CA and Mary-Lyn A. Kraft of Holland also surviving is a nephew Travis and 3 nieces Felicia, Brittany and Laura.

Chris’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd.(at Holland Rd.) Richboro. All are invited on Thursday to his Funeral Mass at 12:30 pm at St. Bede the Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd. Holland. Interment will be private.
