Donald M. Carlson of Warminster died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 80.

Donald was the beloved husband of 58 years to Margaret D. Dittmar Carlson.

Donald was a long time resident of Bucks County having formerly residing in Churchville and Holland before moving to Ann’s Choice in Warminster. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force and a retired employee of Bell Telephone after 40 years of service. Donald devoted countless hours of community service throughout his lifetime. He was the Founder and President of the Logan Athletic Association, the former Vice President and President of the Northampton Fire Company and a former Lieutenant of the Northampton Township Fire Police. He was a member of the Federation of Telephone Workers of Pennsylvania as well as their former local Vice President and Convention Delegate and was a member of the Communication Workers of American Local #13000 Representative and Convention Delegate.

In addition to his beloved wife Margaret, Donald is survived by his children, Patricia A. Brennan of Newtown and David Malcolm Carlson of Little Egg Harbor, NJ. He is also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Megan Walton and James Michael Brennan and one great granddaughter, Alexa Walton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Monday, December 3, 2012, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro.

Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Prospectville.
