Carol Hansen Charlton-Hawkins of Wrightstown died peacefully on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 63.
Carol was the beloved wife to Robert B. Hawkins.
Born in Norristown, PA she was the daughter of the late Carl J. and Mabel Dager Hansen.
Carol enjoyed spending time at the beach with her sisters, but most especially with her husband and children. She also enjoyed and cherished the many road trips that she and her daughter embarked on over the years. Carol will always be remembered and cherished as a woman who shared her love with her family and everyone whom she had come to know throughout her life.
In addition to her beloved husband Robert, Carol is survived by her 3 loving and devoted children; Amy M. Charlton of Doylestown, William B. and Maryanne L. Hawkins of Wrightstown. She is also survived by her 3 sisters; Sally Malley (Jack), Betsy Jampo (John), and Mary Sechler (Lee) and her brother Jack Hansen (Jackie).
Carol’s family will receive friends on Monday, December 10th from 8:30am until her Funeral Service 10:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.
Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park Prospectville, PA.
Carol never wanted people to hold grudges, but to live life fully and to be happy.
