Robert W. Krotz, Sr. of Newtown went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 61.

Robert was the beloved husband of 38 years of Patricia B. Schlachter Krotz.

Born in Abington, he was a son of Theresa Williams Krotz and the late Harry F. Krotz.

Robert was a graduate of Council Rock High School and went on to work in the Auto Body Business before spending the rest of his career working in construction, first for Crompton & Seitz Construction where he spent 25 years. Most recently he was employed with Pine Run Construction from where he retired in 2013.

A man of deep faith, Robert was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Wycombe. He was a member and officer of Edgewood Grange #688. A true motorcycle enthusiast, he was a long time member of the Blue Comets Motorcycle Club in Skippack. In addition to spending time out on his bike, he also enjoyed time outdoors with his family, camping, hiking and family trips. He also treasured time spent with his grandkids, family and friends at his home, a farm which was in his family for generations. His warm and kind spirit will be dearly missed by his all that came to know and love him.

In addition to his wife and mother, Robert is survived by his children, Robert W. Krotz, Jr. and his wife, Trina, of Holland, Amy P. Colwell and her husband, Chris, of Holland, and Daniel Krotz of Newtown and his girlfriend, Jackie; his adoring grandchildren, Shane and Ava Colwell and Rebecca and Robert W. Krotz, III; his brothers, Harry Krotz and his wife, Mary Jane, Douglas Krotz and his wife, Sally; and his sister Diane Dodaro and her companion, Rob.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2014 and again on Monday September 29, 2014 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.

The Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
