Drew C. Ferrandino of Newtown passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at DuPont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. He was 12.

Born in Middletown, he was the cherished son of Anthony and Catherine Ferrandino of Newtown.

In addition to his parents, Drew is survived by his brother Gavin Ferrandino, his paternal grandparents; Rocco and Dolores Ferrandino, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Drew was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Maureen LaFortune.

Drew’s courageous battle with Batten Disease was an inspiration to us all. The love and support of friends, family and this community gave us the strength to give Drew the best life possible. His smile & spirit shall shine bright forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday October 3, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday10:00 am at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.
