Gladys K. Seeman, 91, of Yardley, passed away peacefully at home on January 19, 2013 with her daughters by her side.

One of eight children, she was born to R. Christian Knoster and Phoebe Earle Knoster.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Heidi C. Seeman of Yardley, PA, and Holly S. Lopp and her husband, John, of Newtown, PA. She is survived by her sisters and brother: Ruth Zambello and her husband Dominic of Mays Landing, NJ; Richard Knoster and his wife Margaret of new Hope, PA; and Joyce Opdyke and her husband C. Richard of Stockton, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gladys was the loving wife of the late Carl A. Seeman and long-time companion of the late James J. Nolan. She was preceded in death by her siblings: C. Earl Knoster; Phyllis Bodine; Edward Knoster; and Winifred Lowe.

Gladys worked for many years as an Executive Assistant for Nevius-Voorhees Department Stores and later became an Office Manager in the Building Services Department at Princeton University, retiring in 1991.

Gladie was an incredibly strong woman with a quiet determination. She was loved deeply and will be missed beyond words. Her family wishes to extend their most sincere gratitude to her dedicated caregivers that provided loving support and friendship.

Gladys’ family will receive condolences on Saturday, January 26, 2012, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a Memorial Service immediately following at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to either Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940 or to any animal rescue foundation.
