Rosemary O’Connell of Holland, PA died peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. She was 75.

Rosemary was the beloved wife of William P. O’Connell for 42 years.

Born in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Michael F. and Mary Crowley O’Connor.

Mrs. O’Connell graduated in 1964 from Loyola University with her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She worked for many years as a pediatric nurse at St. Anne’s Hospital, Chicago, IL. She has been a parishioner at St. Bede the Venerable Church and a resident of Holland for over 40 years.

In addition to her beloved husband, Rosemary is survived by her loving children; Michael F. O’Connell and his partner Michele VanHise of Nazareth, PA, Molly O’Connell Rhodes and her husband Christian of St. Louis, MO, Julie O’Connell Lyons and her husband Craig of Torrance, CA, and Christina O’Connell of Doylestown, PA. She is also survived by her brothers Patrick and John O’Connor, her sisters Margaret Albrecht, Anna May O’Connor, and Theresa Healy, and her 8 grandchildren Collin, MeiLi, Julia, Will, Abby, Taisen, Megan, and Emily.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass10:30AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
