Eugene Arthur Sullivan
Eugene Arthur Sullivan, 90, of Washington Crossing, PA, who suffered with advanced Alzheimer’s, went home to be with his Lord January 30th, 2013 at Arden Courts of Yardley.
Fondly known as Joe, Eugene was born in Indianapolis, Indiana July 9, 1922. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a navigator-bombardier on a B-24. He graduated from The University of Michigan and worked 37 years for General Motors before retiring as Personnel Director of the Corvette Division.
Eugene was devoted to his wife and family, led an exemplary life, and leaves a legacy of 3 children and 11 grandchildren who are all dedicated Christians.
Preceded in death by his grandson, Nathan Flint, Eugene is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna Sullivan, and their children Paula, her husband John Flint, Steven Sullivan, his wife Lisa, Christine, and her husband John Mooradian. He is also survived by his grandchildren Caleb and Micah Flint; Sean, Todd, Dana, and Kati Rose Sullivan; and Joe, Jack, Tony and Catherine Mooradian; and his great-grand daughter Taylor Flint.
A celebration of his life and visitation with the family is planned at Crossing Community Church, 80 Lower Silver Lake Rd., Newtown, PA on Tuesday, February 5th from 2 to 5 pm. Eugene will be interred with honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA, February 6th at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parents for Inclusive Education (501c3), 2111 Roosevelt Dr., Arlington, TX, 76013, an organization that promotes classical education for students of all abilities and supports the Flint Academy.
