Rose A. Slane Murray, of Doylestown died gracefully on Friday February 1, 2013 at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, with her family by her side. She was 87.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the devoted daughter of the late Peter and Catherine Curran Slane, beloved wife of the late Joseph B. Murray, mother of the late Margaret Goldbacher (Joseph) and loving great grandmother of the late Aiden Jones.
Rose was a resident of Warminster for over 20 years before moving to Doylestown in 1986. She was a faithful communicant of Nativity of Our Lord Parish for all of those years; she gave her time and talents in helping keeping God’s House clean, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was devoted to her family, who will be deeply missed for her caring and gentle ways.
Rose is survived by her children and their spouses; Joseph M. Murray and his wife Sharon, James A. Murray and his wife Donna, Michael J. Murray and his wife Denise and Kathleen T. Petrun and her husband Steve. She is also survived by her brother Peter Slane, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday from 9:45 am to 10:45 am followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00am at Nativity of Our Lord Church 605 W. Street Rd. Warminster.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Camilla Hall Infirmary, Immaculata PA. 19355.
