Francis C. Boettinger of New Hope died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Chandler Hall Hospice surrounded by his loving family. He was 82.
Francis was the beloved husband of 52 years to Anita M. Fisher Boettinger.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis C. and Edith Nober Boettinger and brother of the late Robert and Ronald Boettinger.
Francis was a former resident of Churchville for 47 years before recently moving to the Village of Buckingham Springs in New Hope. He was the co-owner along with his late brothers of The Conrad Company located in Andalusia, a family business that specialized in engraving. Francis was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict and former Communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Richboro. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know and love him.
In addition to his beloved wife Anita, Francis is survived by his dearest children, Anita B. Hudak and her husband Richard of Doylestown, Francine M. Boettinger of Warminster, Dolores E. Gillespie and her husband Robert of Horsham, John C. Boettinger of Philadelphia, Marian B. Hippensteal and her husband Alan of Greenville, SC and Paul F. Boettinger and his wife Dana of Skippack, PA. He is also survived by his six cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Angela, Anna, Arianna, Jackson and Quinn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday, February 18th from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902.
Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St., Newtown, PA 18940.
