Julia M. Krantz of Doylestown passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown. She was 92.

Julia was the beloved wife of the late Joseph B. Krantz.

Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Antru and Pauline Artymovich Maciow, sister of the late Mary Rohach and aunt of the late Patricia Lystiuk.

Julia was a former resident of Horsham and Warminster and had since resided in Doylestown for 20 years before moving to Neshaminy Manor Home in 2006. She was an accomplished teacher for over 30 years, having started her career in Ridley Park and Chester before moving to William Tennent High and Klinger Middle School until her retirement in 1981. Julia was a lifetime Phillies fan and in her leisure was an avid movie fan. She enjoyed baking for her family and friends and will be remembered for her elaborate Christmas cookies at the holidays. Julia will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

Julia is survived by her two sons, Robert A. Krantz and his wife Barbara of Perkasie and Steven A. Krantz of Doylestown. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Stephanie Kissel and her husband Clayton, Danielle Krantz and her fiance Zachary Myrick and Jeanette Dunlap and her husband David.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and Funeral Service, Monday, Feb. 18th from 9:00 — 10:30am with her Funeral Service at 10:30 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Parkinson Council, 111 Presidential Blvd., Suite 250, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
