Irene Y. Oberholtzer of Holland died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her residence. She was 97.
Irene was the beloved wife of the late John George Oberholtzer.
Born in Acworth, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Osupak Breier.
Irene was a former resident of Bensalem before moving to Holland in 1984. In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening and spending time at the Northampton Senior Center in Richboro. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.
Irene is survived by her children and their spouses, Benjamin C. and Lynn Oberholtzer of Germantown, TN, Anna Mae and Charles Funk of Bristol and Brian J. and Callista Oberholtzer of Holland. She is also survived by her brother Rudy Breier of Woodbury, NJ, her 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, February 22nd from 11:00am until her Funeral Service 12:00noon at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.
Interment will follow at Pine Grove Memorial Park in Warminster.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
