Joseph A. Kleibert, of Langhorne, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Chandler Hall. He was 81.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Barbara Geil Kleibert. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jane E. Kleibert.

Joe graduated from the Jules Mastbaum High School in 1950. He then worked for Thornton Fuller Auto until he was drafted in 1952. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict until 1954. Joe then secured a position as a technician at Cummins Diesel, where he was employed for 30 years. After leaving Cummins, Joe enjoyed self employment for many years as a contractor, buying and fixing houses.

Although he had many interests, Joe’s main focus was his family. Being a family oriented man, he was very devoted to his children and grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Joe will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his daughters: Susan Allen, wife of Robert of Yardley and Kathleen Kleibert of Mount Pocono; his grandchildren: Laura Allen, Zachary Roach and Kristen von Ahnen, wife of First Sgt. William, and great grandchildren Braden and Madeline.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until his Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown.

Burial will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
