William A. Daenz Jr. of Hatboro, Pa and formerly of Feasterville, PA died on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Luther Park in Hatboro. He was 95.
He was the beloved husband of the late Esther I. Evans Daenz.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William A. Sr. and Helen Worthington Daenz.
Mr. Daenz was a proud veteran of the Army who served his country during World War II. William worked for many years as a skilled tool and dye maker. He was also proud of the fact that he built his first home from the ground up for his family without any formal carpentry training. In his leisure he always enjoyed a round of golf or cultivating his garden, but his greatest joy was being a loving and active father and grandfather. He will be sorely missed by everyone who has come to know and love him.
William is survived by his children; Ellen I. Schrier and her husband Frank of Horsham, PA, and William A. Daenz III and his wife Cathy of Kingston, NH. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren Bryan Schrier, Amanda VanVliet, and Caitlin Schrier, and his 4 great grandchildren Nicholas, Andrew, Annabelle, and Evelyn.
William’s family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 10:00AM until his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Feasterville, PA.
