For many years Joseph was a volunteer board member of the First Regiment Infantry Corporation. In 2002, he was elected President of that organization where he gave his time and dedicated leadership in service to our nation’s soldiers. He was awarded the honorary rank of Colonel of the First Regiment Infantry in recognition of his service.
