Richard I. “Rick” Ulerick of Richboro died peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved husband of Linda M. Buckley Ulerick and son of Irwin Ulerick and the late Helen Burns Ulerick.
Rick was a resident of Richboro for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Rick was the founder and President of Tek-Temp Instruments of Croydon, PA.
Rick had many interests; he enjoyed boating and cars, especially, Corvettes. He was a member of the Tri-State Corvette Club and the Studebaker Car Club. Rick also had a great affection for dogs and was a member of the Polish Lowland Sheep Dog Club. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed.
In addition to his beloved wife and father, Rick is survived by his son and daughter, Christopher M. Ulerick and Wendy L. Ulerick, his brother, Terry I. Ulerick and his wife Pat, his aunt Lillian Sidman and his grandchildren, Kyle, Samantha, Dylan, Ryan, Nicholas, Emily, Hannah, Lexie and Matthew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, March 21st from 8:30am until 10:15am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro and to his 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Bede Capital Campaign at the above address or to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, Abramson Cancer Center Pancreatic Cancer Fund, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Phila., PA 19104.
