Charles J. Sailey of Newtown, formerly of Morrisville, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the beloved husband of Kathy A. Wolk Sailey, and son of the late Edgar and Theresa Carlisi Sailey and brother of the late Clara Klause and brother-in-law of the late Barbara VanHise.

Charles was a graduate of Trenton High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy, where he proudly served on the USS Oklahoma City. Charles was in management with Lease Way Transportation, the logistics division of Sears, where he had a long and rewarding career. After working for Lease Way he started his own sales business.

He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He enjoyed fishing and looked forward to a good game of pinochle. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted family and many friends.

In addition to his beloved wife Kathy, he is survived by his children and their spouses: Linda S. Donohue and her husband John, Charles J. Sailey, Jr. and his wife Angie, Lori A. Leibowitz and her husband Rick, and Leslie A. Sailey and her fiancée Peter. He is also survived by his 12 dear grandchildren and his sister, Arlene Lind and her husband Joe. In addition, he is survived by his brothers-in-law Richard Klause, Richard Wolk, Oscar Wolk (late Patricia) and Edward Wolk (Barbara), and many nieces and nephews.

Charles’s family will receive condolences on Monday April 1, 2013 from 9:00 am until his Memorial Service at 10:00am at the Grace Point Church 529 Washington Crossing Rd.(Rt. 532) Newtown, PA 18940.
